Training Classes Begin in BahamaThe Baha Mar Gaming Academy has begun to offer classes for dealer training and just the other day, over ninety people began to train at several different casino games. The training will help those interested in becoming dealers be able to better able to find a career in the field. Bahamians who have the drive to learn the various casino games can attend the academy and begin the start of a fun learning experience.
The academy had more than 700 applications presented for entrance into the program and only 300 were allowed to take part. The classes are held by professional trainers and will give instruction on a one-on-one basis and will provide constructive feedback on their abilities. The program takes place over 14 weeks and 18 weeks with the day program being shorter than the night program.
During the gaming sessions, players will have the opportunity to learn blackjack, baccarat, craps, roulette and pai gow poker. Other games will be offered for training as well including Three Card Poker, Caribbean Stud, War and Let It Ride. Paul V. Pusateri, the Chief Operating Officer of Baha Mar, commented on the classes by stating:

The training that these participants are receiving will ensure that Baha Mar provides a world-class gaming experience that will exceed their expectations and make them want to return to Baha Mar.”
The training will be for dealers to work at the Baha Mar Casino, which will have 100,000 square feet of gaming. The facility will be the largest casino located in the Caribbean. Players will be able to take part in the best of gaming in the area which will include table games and slots, with professionally trained dealers.
